A 16-year-old high school student, Nismet lives in a small town in the Marseille region, between a depressed mother and a tyrannical and violent stepfather. While the latter tries to sexually assault her and faced with the passivity of her mother, the young girl runs away. From home to home, and faced with the tragedy that will soon affect her family, she will have to find the path to emancipation and free herself from its independence.
